Wolfgang Gartner – Space Junk
I vaguely remember Erick Morillo dropping this monster track at about 5:30 am on Saturday. Honestly, Wolfgang is a freaking genius. His productions are so intricate and layered, yet they are all flawless. This track is so hard and dark yet at the same time, it incorporates a happy and upbeat melody. The breakdown at 2:15 sounds like something out of an awesome Sega Genesis game, and when the drums kick in, it is simply immaculate! Maybe its just me, but I could see this track topping the beatport charts when it is officially released. If you dislike this track, you probably know nothing about dance music…jus sayin’.
